Navette Ski Montreal History

It all begins with four mates in Montreal. They planned to spend the most non-working days that they could in the nearest ski resorts. Well, actually they are skiing the most that they can since they are not forced any more to eat Kraft Diners all week long in order to save enough money to buy ski pass for the week-end. You know what I’m talking about!

These four guys got three main qualities

(and many more, less important here to be mentioned).

A bit eco-Soldiers

They would definitely appreciate to save the pollution generated by one more car on the road. High five Mother Nature!

Thrifty

Renting a car every week-end doesn’t make them happy. And they have to pay for a car large enough to take 4 peoples plus two pairs of ski and two boards… Besides gas prices don’t show any sign of decrease.

Lazy

Renting a car every week-end doesn’t make them happy. And they have to pay for a car large enough to take 4 peoples plus two pairs of ski and two boards… Besides gas prices don’t show any sign of decrease.

Hence, solution looks simple…

There might be a bus terminal, not so far from our place, that offers cheap round-trips and will bring us back home before tonight party (work hard, party harder!)

Well, believe it or not, after deep researches, they didn’t find a satisfying option!

And it looks like even people around them did not know much about existing solutions. But surprising investigation result, even people who own cars (lucky dudes!) admitted that tacking a bus would save them from small disagreements:

driving risks, slow traffic on Crémazie or near Richelieu exit, tiredness…

Then turning around in the resort parking to find a place because all the nice one are full of local pick up. Too bad you didn’t woke up earlier….

Last but not least, fuel cost, wear, the car that comes back durty as f…

No doubt anymore, Navette Ski Montreal project was launched !
